Job Title : Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession : Radiology / Cardiology Specialty : Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration : 14 weeks Shift : Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift : 10 Experience : Minimum 2 years License : GA or Compact license required Certifications : BLS, CNMT, ARRT Must-Have : - 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine - Proficient with charting systems - Experience with various imaging equipment (GE, Hitachi, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba) - Familiarity with HIDA scan, thallium stress test, and pharmacological stress tests Description : Schedule is Monday through Thursday. Weekend shifts are included in call requirements. Call is required one week per month from 5 PM to 11 PM (Monday-Friday) and 7 AM to 11 PM (Saturday / Sunday). Float within facility as needed, within scope of practice. The traveler is expected to work one major holiday during the assignment period. If two major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work both. If three major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving / Black Friday, Christmas Eve / Christmas Day, New Year's Eve / New Year's Day. Full compliance is required to start on time. If compliance is not met in time, there will be a pushback of one to two weeks. Two supervisory references are highly preferred at the time of submission. RTO is limited to a maximum of 7 days. Every holiday RTO request is reviewed for approval based on assignment period needs. Candidates must be available to submit core items within 48 hours of signing the contract to ensure an on-time start. Return travelers must complete one successful assignment outside of the prior facility before rebooking. Modules are non-billable and are completed during orientation.
