The  VA Caribbean Healthcare System (San Juan VA Medical Center)  is seeking  Board-Certified Hospitalists (Internal Medicine)  to join our team in  San Juan, Puerto Rico . • Serve as the  primary consultant for the Emergency Department  (main role).
• Manage  medical step-down units  (in-person).
• Cover  hospital wards  (less frequent) and lead  rapid response teams 24 / 7 .
• Predictable Schedule :
• 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week  (24-hour practice coverage).
• Structured yet flexible to ensure work-life balance.
