Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Warehouse Lead to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations while supporting inventory accuracy, efficient material flow, and timely production and shipping.
This is a working lead role that balances operational execution with leadership responsibilities, cross-department collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives.
The Warehouse Lead will work closely with Purchasing, Production, and Customer Service to ensure internal and external customers experience the WOW Effect daily.
Key Responsibilities Inventory Management Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, reconciliation, and variance analysis.
Use ERP systems to track stock levels, work-in-progress, and inter-facility movements.
Execute inventory adjustments as directed.
Partner with Purchasing and Production to anticipate shortages and optimize material flow.
Warehouse Operations Lead daily warehouse activities :
- receiving, inspection, picking, staging, and transfers.
- Verify shipment accuracy and product quality.
- Coordinate with Production, Shipping, and Customer Service to meet deadlines.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
- Team Leadership Assign and monitor daily tasks for warehouse staff.
- Communicate departmental goals and updates from the Supply Chain Manager.
- Train, guide, and support team members to ensure high performance.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Safety & Continuous Improvement Monitor adherence to OSHA and company safety policies.
- Conduct routine facility and equipment inspections.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance productivity and accuracy.
- Qualifications & Experience 3-5 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment. 1-2 years in a lead, supervisor, or senior warehouse role preferred.
- Experience using ERP systems, scan guns, and technology for inventory management.
- Knowledge of lean principles and 5S methodology.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Skills & Abilities Strong understanding of warehouse operations and material flow.
- Analytical skills to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Effective balance of hands-on work and leadership responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices.
- Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers.
- Ability to pass DOT physical to operate a dock truck >
