Job descriptionCertification or 2 + years' experience in operating a forklift Proficiency in using computers, scanners, and other technology for inventory management Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to lift 50lbs Ability to stand for at least 8 hours Knowledge in use of basic hand tools Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment Ability to multi-task, work independently with minimal supervision, follow written and oral instructions Attention to detail and demonstrate problem-solving skills Ability to work well with a team High school diploma or G.E.D

Department
Shipping and Receiving
- Managing the flow of materials in and out the company’s warehouse or facility
- Using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment move and / or to load and unload trucks
- Scanning and sorting incoming and outgoing stock
- Accepting deliveries, inspecting items for damage or discrepancies, and verifying quantities against packing slips or purchase orders
- Organizing and placing received materials in designated storage areas, ensuring proper labelling and inventory accuracy
- Preparing items for shipment, including packaging, labelling, and creating shipping documents.
- Creating and maintaining shipping and receiving documents, ensuring proper recordkeeping
- Note This is a starting position on the Shipping and Receiving team. This is not for a Team Lead or Supervisor position. The Shipping and Receiving clerk does not have any direct or indirect reports to them.
