Experience : Minimum of 2 years recent Cath Lab tech experience

License : Must have RCIS or CVT certifications

Certifications : ACLS & BLS certifications required

Must-Have :

• Must have RCIS or CVT certifications, which must be verified
• Candidates must have ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 2 years recent Cath Lab tech experience

Description :

The Cardiac Cath Lab Technician demonstrates critical thinking skills and judgment in assisting with the performance of imaging studies in the Cardiac Cath Lab.

The Technician is responsible for performing studies in a timely manner under the direction of the Cardiologist, Chief Technologist, or Director of Imaging Services.

The position requires a commitment to patient care and safety during all procedures.

The ability to work collaboratively within a team is essential.

Candidates should have experience with imaging technologies and equipment used in the Cath Lab.

Effective communication skills are necessary for interaction with the medical team and patients.

Candidates must be able to handle stressful situations competently and efficiently.
