Assistant Food & Beverage Manager

Four Seasons Resorts Lana'i is seeking an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager. The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager would be based in Banquets but would assist in other Resort outlets such as Room Service, Restaurant, Bar, Lounge, Pool, Beach or Stewarding as needed. They will assist in overseeing all facets of the outlet to which they are assigned. The Assistant Manager must maintain and control a high level of guest service. This is achieved by ensuring consistent and thoughtful service, demonstrated by the staff. The Assistant Manager is responsible for the hiring, training, supervising, and coaching of staff.

We are looking for individuals who possess a high level of attention to detail and a strong work ethic. The ability to multitask and prioritize is essential for this position. Applicants must be comfortable with the Banquet operation as well as managing other Food & Beverage outlets through guest service, cost control, menu writing, merchandising and accounting. Experience operating industrial size dish machines and ability to learn their operation is preferred. This position is physical by nature and requires the applicant to be able to lift up to 50lbs. Repetitive motion and movements are essential functions of this position. The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager is in direct contact with the entire Food & Beverage team therefore strong communication skills are essential. Fluency in reading, writing, and spoken English is required. This position requires an applicant with a flexible schedule and the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays. Two to three years previous employment in a related position is preferred. Candidates must have valid work authorization for the U.S.
