VHS is looking for a qualified Registered Nurse - Operating Room.

• Shift : 17 Hours Day shift
• Description : Position : Day / Evening Rotating Nurse combination of 8 10 and 12-hour shifts to equate 40 hrs / weekD / E rotating call as needed weekend as needed. Not guaranteed 4 10s.We prefer RNs rated 3-4 in neuro thoracic ENT ortho general plastics urology GU / GYN free flaps and robotics Da-Vinci. Experience in oncology is also preferred.Monday to Friday : Shift options : 06 : 30 - 17 : 00 6 : 30 - 19 : 00 or 10 : 30 - 20 : 30This position requires a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week which may be fulfilled through one of the following schedule options : Four 10-hour shifts 4x10sFive 8-hour shifts 5x8sTwo 8-hour shifts and two 12-hour shifts 2x8s 2x12s
• Please note that the schedule will be a combination of the above three shift options and will vary based on unit need.
• Call : typically staff sign up for 2-3 / 4-week schedule period. Depending on the shift it may be requested to pick up the following calls-Evening-1500-2300Night 2300-0700Weekend 0700-1900 1900-0700Qualifications : Minimum of 2 years of experience requiredBCLS certification requiredRequired skills : Circulate and scrub experienceEPIC experience requiredKey Responsibilities : Provide high-quality nursing care in a day / evening rotating schedule.Assist with circulating and scrubbing as needed.Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC.Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
