We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking lead carpenter to join our team at Sprague Construction LLC. The ideal candidate will assist with various tasks on construction sites, ensuring efficiency and safety.

About Us : Sprague Construction LLC is a reputable construction company dedicated to high-quality craftsmanship and innovative building solutions. We specialize in Remodeling, custom kitchens, custom bathrooms and were looking for a skilled Lead Carpenter to help bring our projects to life.

Position Overview : We seek an experienced and highly skilled Lead Carpenter to oversee carpentry work, manage project workflow, and mentor a team of craftsmen. The ideal candidate will have exceptional technical skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to deliver outstanding results in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and supervise carpentry crews, ensuring efficiency and quality workmanship.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
  • Execute advanced framing, finishing, cabinetry, and custom woodwork with precision.
  • Plan and delegate tasks while maintaining timelines and budgets.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards.
  • Provide hands-on training and mentorship to junior carpenters.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Troubleshoot and solve on-site challenges efficiently.

    • Qualifications & Skills :

  • Minimum of 7 years of carpentry experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
  • Expertise in framing, finish carpentry, cabinetry, and general woodworking.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams.
  • Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and carpentry equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of construction safety protocols and building codes.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
