Special Education Teacher (Contract) – Woodbridge, CT

Pay Rate : $55 / hour

Schedule : Full-Time, Onsite

Start Date : Early November 2025

End Date : June 2026

Connected Health Care is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time contract role in Woodbridge, Connecticut, for the 2025–2026 school year. This is a unique two-part assignment that offers the opportunity to work with a variety of students and settings.

Assignment Details :

November – March 30, 2026

Location : Amity Transition Academy @ Albertus Magnus College

Student Age Group : 18–22 years old

Focus : Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and community vocational skills

Caseload : Fewer than 10 students

March 30 – June 2026

Location : Amity Regional High School (Woodbridge, CT)

Classroom : Low-functioning program

Caseload : Fewer than 10 students

Requirements :

Valid CT Special Education Teaching Certification

Experience working with students with diverse learning needs

Strong classroom management and collaboration skills
