Location : Greens at Hendersonville, Hendersonville, NC

Job Type : Full-Time

Shift : Monday thru Friday, no on-call

Bonus will be paid out over the 1st year !!!

We are currently seeking a dedicated  Wound Care Nurse to join our team and help promote the healing and well-being of our residents.

Position Summary :

The Wound Care Nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of residents with wounds, pressure injuries, ostomies, and other skin conditions. This nurse will also collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure best practices in skin integrity and wound management.

Responsibilities :

Assess and monitor wounds, pressure ulcers, surgical sites, and other skin conditions

Develop and implement individualized wound care treatment plans

Perform wound debridement and dressing changes according to physician orders

Document wound assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately

Educate nursing staff on proper wound care techniques and prevention strategies

Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other staff to ensure continuity of care

Monitor wound healing progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

Participate in quality assurance and infection control initiatives related to skin care

  • On-call rotation.

Qualifications :

Current RN or LPN license in North Carolina or compact

Minimum 1–2 years of clinical nursing experience (wound care preferred)

Wound Care Certification (WCC, WOCN, or equivalent) preferred or willingness to obtain

Strong knowledge of wound care best practices and infection control

Excellent communication and clinical documentation skills

Compassionate, detail-oriented, and team-focused
