Class A CDL Local Yard Spotter - Daily Home Time - SC

Local dedicated yard spotter position for IP Franklin VA (23851). Switching and Spotting Trailers on the Franklin Yard - 40' containers. Daily home time. Varies work week. Yard Jockey. 1st shift 6am to 6pm, 2nd shift 6pm to 6am. Pay : 1st shift $22.50 / hr, 2nd shift $23.50 / hr. Average : 48-60 hours, $1,228.50-$1,339.50 weekly. Average Annual Salary : $52,000-$64,000. No driver unload. Driver must be able to withstand the physical demands of a spotter in an industrial setting in good and bad weather. Requires getting in & out of a spotter continuously for a 12hr shift, setting jack stands, emplacing wheel chocks and driving over paved and unimproved surfaces. High standards of safety, personal appearance, adherence to all procedures, and prompt and courteous customer service are expected at all times. Includes wearing of PPE, working as a team and with another spotter, watching out for each other and safely getting the job done daily. Weekly and quarterly safety incentives are available for the safety minded drivers with the right work ethic. Online training is required upon hiring. $200.00 safety bonus paid quarterly.
