Cable Technician

We are actively seeking skilled

• Cabling Technicians
• to join our team for a project in the Fishkill area. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation and termination of Cat6 cables, ensuring high-quality voice and data cabling solutions.
• Key Responsibilities :
• Install and terminate Cat6 cables following industry standards.
• Run and terminate voice and data cables efficiently.
• Adhere to low voltage network cabling instructions.
• Follow manufacturer guidelines and instructions from the lead technician.
• Ensure all installations meet quality and safety standards.
• Qualifications :
• Proven experience in structured cabling and telecommunications.
• Ability to use power and hand tools effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.
• OSHA30 and SST certifications required.
• Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Available to work Monday through Friday.
• Skills :
• Cable installation and termination (Cat5, Cat6)
• Use of cable trays, J-hooks, and cable runways
• Wire management and structured cabling
• Testing and troubleshooting telecommunications infrastructure
• Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00 / hr.
