TravelNurseSource is working with Pioneer Healthcare Services to find a qualified Postpartum RN in Athens, Tennessee, 37303!

Pay Information

$1,979 to $2,040 per week

About The Position

If you want to make a significant impact as a Registered Nurse - Postpartum in Athens, TN this position might be what you are looking for!

Responsibilities :

  • Strong knowledge of maternal and newborn physiology, postpartum complications, and lactation support.
  • Ability to recognize and respond to postpartum emergencies, such as hemorrhage or neonatal distress.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, lactation consultants, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate mothers and families on newborn care, postpartum recovery, self-care, and potential warning signs requiring medical attention.

Qualifications :

  • TN Registered Nurse license
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
  • BLS required
  • ACLS preferred
  • Inpatient Obstetric Nursing (RNC-OB) preferred
  • Maternal Newborn Nursing (RNC-MNN) certification preferred
