Job descriptionGreet and assist clients in person, over the phone, and via email with a professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor. Serve as the first point of contact for customers, addressing a wide range of inquiries related to insurance policies, billing, claims, and general agency services. Provide knowledgeable and accurate information to help customers understand their policies and options, assisting with policy changes, renewals, cancellations, and other requests. Proactively identify customer needs and opportunities to offer appropriate products and services, supporting the agency’s sales efforts by generating and nurturing potential leads. Assist customers throughout the sales process by preparing insurance quotes, policy proposals, and following up to ensure customer satisfaction. Handle customer concerns and resolve issues efficiently, escalating more complex matters to management when needed. Maintain thorough and accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in the agency’s systems. Perform general administrative and operational duties such as filing, data entry, managing office supplies, and supporting team workflow. Stay current with insurance products, services, and industry regulations through ongoing training and professional development. Collaborate with team members to create a seamless, positive customer experience and contribute to overall agency success. High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field preferred. Previous customer service experience, preferably in insurance or financial services, is an asset. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with clients and team members. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable using CRM software. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and patience. Must be a team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt. Bilingual skills (English / Spanish) are a plus. Competitive salary based on experience.
