Nursing Assistant (Na)

Nursing Assistants (NA) play a central role in providing compassionate, excellent care at Select Specialty Hospital, a critical illness recovery hospital committed to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who require extended healing and recovery.

Responsibilities include :

• Performing services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participating in hourly rounds
• Transporting patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assisting transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintaining the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keeping patients' rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintaining unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performing other duties as assigned
