OVERVIEW

Founded in 1947 by Nina Vance, the Alley Theatre is a pioneer of regional theatre, and one of the leading nonprofit theatre companies in the United States. HOURLY : $15 / HR Minimum

JOB STATEMENT :

Under the supervision of the Scenic Charge Artist Overhire Scenic Artists is responsible for the completion of painting all scenic elements for productions.

JOB DUTIES :

• Assist the Charge Scenic Artist in painting / finishing of scenery as specified in the design.
• Assist in the daily maintenance and clean-up of the shop and paint areas.
• Be an active participant in the construction, load-in, and strike of all productions.
• Touch-up and maintenance of scenery during the load-in process and during the course of the run of the show, as required
• Additional related duties as assigned the Charge Scenic Artist.
