About The Position
Job Title : PACU Registered Nurse

Certifications : BCLS, ACLS, PALS
Must-Have : Level 1 trauma and Telemetry experience, Pediatric experience
Description :
This position will be in a brand-new Critical Care facility with new rooms, resources, and state-of-the-art technology.
The facility increases overall hospital capacity for patients.
Health professionals have the opportunity to build careers within this medical facility.
No holiday time off is permitted on specific dates.
Pre-procedure and post-procedure care for Cath lab and IR required.
COVID vaccination is required, with medical and religious exemptions accepted.
First-time travelers may be accepted upon screening.
Weekend coverage is required for one shift per month.
Call shifts of 1-2 overnight shifts monthly are required.
Clinicians may float within their scope to meet facility needs.
Nurse to patient ratios may vary from 1 : 2 to 1 : 3-5 depending on the area.
The staffing and scheduling may require flexibility.
The unit provides care for various age groups, including neonates and geriatrics.
Daily case census averages 35+.
Nurses in this unit will float to the holding area within the department.
Candidates must possess charge experience and be willing to work in a charge role.
Experience with Phase II PACU preferred.
Candidates should be accustomed to increased nurse-to-patient ratios.
All requirements must be verified prior to submission.
No local candidates living within a 75-mile radius will be considered.
Compliance documents must be completed in a timely manner.
Pre-approved time off requests are subject to client approval and restrictions apply.
This facility does not accept marketing submissions for travelers.
