• Assignment Length : 13 weeks\n

• Start Date : December 15, 2025\n
• End Date : March 16, 2026\n
• Healthcare Setting : Acute Care – Cath Lab Recovery (Stepdown Unit)\n
• Shifts : 12-hour nights (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday), 5 : 00 PM – 5 : 30 AM\n
• Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed\n
• No weekends or holidays required\n
• Charting System : EpicCare Inpatient (Epic Systems Corporation)\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n
• Active Illinois RN license (required at submission)\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Cath Lab Recovery or Stepdown nursing, caring for cardiac and interventional radiology (IR) patients (e.g., pacemakers, stent insertions, ablations)\n
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications\n
• Proficiency with Epic EMR (Electronic Medical Records) required\n
• Valid driver's license required\n
• Preferred : Previous travel nurse experience\n\nRN Responsibilities\n
• Deliver expert recovery care for patients following cardiac and IR procedures, including pacemaker placements, stent insertions, and ablations\n
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status, responding promptly to changes in condition\n
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians\n
• Accurately document all care and assessments in Epic EMR\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes\n
