In our time of Company growth, we seek a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Phlebotomist / Arcadia, FL.

Work Location : Bradenton, FL

As part of this role, you will :

Th e Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) assists nursing staff and medical providers by utilizing professional standards with a strong focus on quality, timely care, and exceptional customer service. They will a ssist in the maintenance of an environment conducive to the health, training, and well-being of peers and patients. The person in this position may have to float to sites as needed at the direction of the Department Head or designee .

As part of this role, you will :

• Responsible for providing vital signs, interviewing the patient / family, and charting
• Collaborates with healthcare providers in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the needs of patients and peers
• Maintains positive, effective communication with providers, supervisors, peers, and subordinates
• Knowledgeable regarding Universal Precautions and Aseptic Technique
• Performs proper collection procedure for DOT drug screens, Chain of Custody, and routine collections
• Knowledgeable regarding processing specimens, i.e., insurances, filling out requisitions, lab contact numbers, logging in all reports, keeping 3 months of lab results on hand, etc.
• Knowledgeable / Assist providers as requested with exams, procedures, etc.
