As the Clinical Program Director , you’ll oversee all aspects of the EDT program, ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed care and a safe therapeutic environment. You will :
Lead, hire, train, and supervise a team of Clinicians, Program Supervisors, and Direct Care WorkersOversee admissions, treatment planning, case management, and discharge planningFoster a positive work culture through coaching, training, and staff developmentCollaborate with families, outside agencies, and professionals (DCF, hospitals, consultants, physicians)Manage program budgets and ensure compliance with Medicaid and regulatory requirementsDrive Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives and promote trauma-sensitive, culturally competent carePlay a key leadership role as part of the Management Team, shaping agency treatment philosophyWhat We’re Looking For
Clinical License (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) – Required5+ years of post-graduate clinical experience working with children / adolescentsStrong knowledge of programming for youth with developmental, psychiatric, and behavioral challengesProven ability to implement trauma-informed treatment approachesLeadership skills in supervision, team building, and conflict resolutionComfort with technology, including Microsoft Office, electronic health records, and scheduling platformsAdditional Expectations
Participation in mandatory trainings (CPR, fire safety, boundary training, etc.)On-call responsibility for program emergenciesCommitment to ethical practice, cultural competence, and creating a safe, therapeutic environment for youth and staffPhysical & Work Environment Requirements
