Production Underwriter, Commercial Lines Insurance

Amwins Access - Admitted Placement Services (APS) has an opportunity for a Production Underwriter. This role is responsible for producing & developing a commercial admitted book of business. • Liaise with carrier personnel and retail agents daily to assist with placement, retention, and resolution of risks by quoting and binding accounts
• Develop agency marketing plans to drive new business production and renewal retention with a customer-oriented focus
• Sell and distribute Amwins Admitted products including in person agency visits to develop that business
• Build relationships with agencies and analyze accounts to prioritize opportunities
• Develop highly collaborative internal relationships and follow-up on cross selling opportunities when appropriate
