- Location : Rockland ME 04841 – 100% On-site
- Payrate : $29.51 / hr
- Required Availability : Full-Time | Monday – Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM
(No weekends, no on-call)
CERTIFIED OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT (COTA) | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS :
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) will work with an outpatient neuro rehabilitation team in Rockland. The role focuses on helping individuals regain independence and improve their quality of life through targeted therapeutic activities and functional skill development.

Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing individualized therapy plans focused on functional, vocational, and educational goals.Support patients with neurological conditions through exercises, activities, and adaptive techniques.Conduct community reintegration activities to encourage real-world application of therapy goals.Collaborate in group sessions and co-treatment settings to provide holistic patient care.Fabricate or adapt assistive devices to enhance participation in daily tasks.Document patient progress and communicate updates to the care team, clinical coordinator, and physicians.CERTIFIED OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT (COTA) | REQUIREMENTS :
Education : High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)Attendance : Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.Active Maine COTA license (compact license accepted).Outpatient neuro experience required.Group therapy and co-treating experience preferred.Experience with WellSky EMR preferred.Current CPR / BLS certification.Take the Next Step!
