Job description

Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Hazard, Kentucky.

Unit Overview

Join our cutting-edge Cath Lab, where we perform innovative procedures using the latest technology, including our new Hemodynamic system from Change Health Care. Our close-knit team consists of Radiology Technologists and RNs who support and care for one another.

Position Summary

As a Cath Lab RN, you will provide direct patient care, including conscious sedation, monitoring, and documentation. This is a travel assignment requiring you to live 100 miles from the facility .

Schedule & Call Requirements

  • Business Hours : Monday–Friday, 0700–1730
  • Rotating Day Off : One day off per week (rotates weekly)
  • On-Call Expectation : 8–10 days per month

    • Normal Rotation :

    1 night / week (1730–0700)

  • 1 in every 3 weeks : Friday 1730–0700, plus Saturday & Sunday 0700–0700
  • Call Team : 2 RNs + 1 Radiology Technologist
  • STEMI Response : Must have housing within 30 minutes of the facility

    • Uniform & Equipment

  • Scrubs and lead apron provided for cases

    • Required Credentials

  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIH
  • KY Compact License
