Develops implements and monitors strategies to ensure all goals objectives and long-range plans are achieved that parallel with the overall organizational goals. Ensures all underwriting issuance administration and other procedures required by our carrier partners state insurance departments as well as all office operating procedures are in accordance with CRC standards while developing and maintaining sustainable business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide effective leadership that ensures that the business objectives are met for program carrier office and team. Create an invaluable management structure and control system.
2. Exercise appropriate budgetary control.
3. Develop maintain and cultivate client and agent relationships.
4. The ability to communicate coordinate and be effective in bringing various internal and external groups together to drive the success of the program. These include but are not limited to IT Finance internal audit claims vendor management facilities marketing and communications HR compliance etc.
5. Meet or exceed production margin and employee development goals as assigned by CRC. Solicit market quote bind and confirm new and existing business.
6. Negotiate the best terms and coverages available with accessible markets. Ensure submissions reflect accurate data such as risks and coverages.
7. Monitor accounts to ensure compliance with the firms policies and procedures. Ensure production employees meet or exceed assigned goals.
8. Maintain necessary licenses to produce business.
9. Represent the firm in a professional manner with all clients and business partners.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications :

1. Bachelors degree or appropriate insurance designation
2. Five years of experience in underwriting production and marketing of new accounts
3. Experience managing a large staff
4. Must be licensed in corresponding areas of insurance
5. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential and an ability to communicate and influence at all levels
6. Clear and consistent leadership of staff
7. Must have strong carrier relationships as well as broker / agent relationships
8. Must be able to understand and analyze necessary components of insurance policies
9. Excellent marketing and brokering skills
10. Ability to understand the clients needs and have knowledge of the risk profiles associated
11. Recognize new trends and developments in the insurance industry and be able to incorporate that into your strategy
12. Ability to develop foster and maintain an excellent working relationship with agencies
13. Must possess and maintain current knowledge of the insurance industry
14. Good written verbal and presentation skills
15. Maintain travel schedule depending on the needs of clients agents / brokers carriers internal management and new business opportunities
16. Ability to work extended hours when necessary
