Accountant

A small, well established and fast-growing R&D company in Laguna Hills has an immediate need for a Temporary on-site

Accountant to cover for a leave of absence that will last approximately 5 months, possibly longer. The pay-rate is $30-40 / hr based on experience and the schedule is Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM.

The Accountant will oversee and manage the office administration, accounting and contracts management for the company.

The ideal candidate is expected to have strong experience in Job Cost Accounting in addition to corporate administration. Additionally, the candidate should have good communication skills, both verbally and written, and be able to interact well with staff, government contacts and vendors.

Job Responsibilities

• Office administration and accounting management
• Understanding of government accounting, general ledger and cost accounting and review
• Understanding of Accounts Receivable invoicing, banking and review
• Payroll administration
• Understanding of HR administration and review
