Schedule :  Full Time (M-F; 8a-5p)

Shift :  Day

Location : 100 Hospital Drive, Hendersonville, NC 28792

The community you’ll be caring for : AdventHealth Hendersonville

The role you’ll contribute : Schedules patients for surgery and preoperative testing as indicated. Reviews patient medications and health histories, as needed.

The value you’ll bring to the team :

  • Schedules patients for surgery and completes facility paperwork.
  • Obtains necessary scheduling, demographic, insurance, and clinical information to schedule, cancel, or reschedule events with minimal call transfers or callbacks.
  • Schedules surgeries with physicians and physician office staff using the method designated by the facility.
  • Calls designated departments with information for add-on cases if patients are not yet admitted to the hospital and prepares and sends reservations for each case scheduled within established timeframes.
  • Responds to multiple inquiries from telephone, intercom, and direct communication regarding scheduling of surgery and the main operating room suite.
