Position Title : Medical Device Cybersecurity Analyst – New Lenox, IL

Job Summary

The Medical Device Cybersecurity Analyst will respond to cybersecurity alerts, ensure client KPIs are met, perform audits and risk assessments of medical devices, and provide subject matter expertise with Intelas resources for medical device cybersecurity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitors and responds to the medical device asset and cybersecurity management platform findings and mitigating steps.
• Demonstrates strong knowledge of computers, operating systems, security, and networking.
• Interprets technical documentation and manuals.
• Generates and builds bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly client reports.
• Performs GAP analysis on discovered medical devices with Intelas's CMMS.
• Creates security work orders in the CMMS and assigns to the field as applicable.
• Triage and assign work orders generated from the CMMS cybersecurity module as appropriate.
• Ensures work orders are completed within defined KPIs and assists on-site Crothall resources if needed.
• Researches and engages OEMs for available approved patches and firmware upgrades.
• Proactively collects most current MDS2 forms.
• Maintains a database of approved patches, firmware upgrades, and MDS2 forms.
• Collaborates with clients to respond and coordinate mitigating steps and compensating controls on contracted medical devices.
• Participates in Intelas's CEIT Council.
• Maintains operational security metrics to measure effectiveness of security controls and identify improvements.
• Assists in threat intelligence gathering and monitoring of zero-day threats, correlating to the client CMMS inventory.
• Assists in development and implementation of continued best practices and risk management of inventoried connected medical devices.
• Ensures compliance with all regulatory standards including patient safety and relevant criteria for safe use, testing, and management of medical devices.
