Gastroenterology Physician

Locums - Galesburg, Illinois, Gastroenterologist Job Clinical Role :

• Must have an active Illinois medical license and be board certified in Gastroenterology
• Must be available a minimum of 5 consecutive shifts per month (more preferred) Description :
• General GI - care of acute and chronic GI conditions, new patient access, endoscopies, and hospital consults
• Expected median productivity
• The group will work with the locum physician on call expectations - prefer as much call coverage as possible, but open to multiple candidates
• Responsibilities include outpatient support, ambulatory scopes, patient admits, and rounding
• Current locums have been providing a mix of ambulatory, inpatient, and ED coverage - this remains the preferred model Required Procedures :
• General GI care
• Endoscopies
• Hospital consults Schedule :
• Monday - Friday, 7 : 00 a.m. - 5 : 00 p.m. or 8 : 00 a.m. - 5 : 00 p.m.
• Possible night call
• No weekend coverage Additional Details :
