Position Summary


We are seeking a motivated and dependable Medical Assistant to join our Tamarac office. This role is essential to the daily clinical and administrative operations of the practice and requires a strong commitment to patient care, accuracy, and teamwork. The ideal candidate will support providers while ensuring a positive and professional experience for every patient.

Key Responsibilities


Assist healthcare providers during patient visits and clinical procedures

Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints

Prepare examination rooms and maintain proper clinical supplies

Accurately document patient information in the electronic health record (EHR)

Support front-office functions as needed, including scheduling and patient communication

Adhere strictly to HIPAA, infection control, and office policies

Deliver courteous, respectful, and patient-centered service at all times

Qualifications


Medical Assistant certification or relevant clinical experience preferred

Familiarity with outpatient clinical workflows and medical terminology

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Professional appearance and strong interpersonal skills
