What You'll Do
Lead end-to-end recruiting for our hyper-growth AI cloud infrastructure startup, prioritizing exceptional hiring manager partnerships and candidate experiences that reflect our engineering-first cultureSource, screen, and evaluate top-tier talent across cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, DevOps / SRE and infrastructure engineering (high performance computing, networking, storage, orchestration) rolesPartner with engineering leadership and founders to develop and execute aggressive hiring strategies including competitive intelligence, talent mapping, and analysis of the cloud infrastructure marketNavigate complex technical interviews and guide decision-making processes across our distributed team of interviewers and hiring managersLeverage recruiting analytics and market insights to optimize hiring velocity, quality, and conversion rates in the competitive cloud infrastructure talent marketBuild and maintain recruiting dashboards and performance metrics that support our rapid platform scaling objectivesDrive continuous innovation in our recruiting process, candidate experience, and employer branding to compete for the best cloud infrastructure talent globallyYou
Have 8+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, preferably with high-growth startups or competitive tech companies (sourcing, screening, closing top-tier candidates)Prior experience recruiting at a high growth start-up or at an agency servicing similar companiesExcel at evaluating candidates for both cultural alignment and deep technical competencies, particularly in cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and infrastructure workload optimizationDemonstrate genuine passion for cloud technologies, distributed systems, and AI infrastructure with the ability to quickly understand complex technical requirements and scalability challengesMaster advanced sourcing techniques across LinkedIn Recruiter, Linkedin Talent Insights, GitHub, cloud engineering communities, open-source projects, and specialized infrastructure platformsHave extensive experience with modern ATS platforms and recruiting analytics tools to drive data-informed hiring decisionsThrive in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments where priorities shift rapidly and scrappy execution is essentialNice to Have
Direct experience recruiting for cloud infrastructure startups, platform engineering teams, or Big Tech cloud divisionsDeep understanding of the cloud infrastructure ecosystem, open-source communities, and key industry conferences (KubeCon, re : Invent, Google Cloud Next, etc.)Experience with Ashby or similar modern recruiting platformsTrack record of closing candidates from top cloud companies (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.)Technical background or strong familiarity with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, distributed systems, and AI infrastructure optimizationExperience recruiting in the San Francisco Bay Area's competitive cloud infrastructure talent marketSalary Range Information
Based on market data and other factors, the annual salary range for this position is $155,000 - $290,000. However, a salary higher or lower than this range may be appropriate for a candidate whose qualifications differ meaningfully from those listed in the job description.
