Position Overview

Seeking a board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a well-established, busy private nephrology group.

New graduates are encouraged to apply; comprehensive training program provided.

Ideal candidates will live in or near Poughkeepsie, Fishkill, or Newburgh.

About the Practice

Single specialty nephrology group with 6 Nephrologists & 4 Physician Extenders (NP / PA).

Affiliations with 5 hospitals, 8 dialysis centers, and 3 regional offices.

Busy, growing practice with a strong emphasis on quality patient care.

Schedule Breakdown : Monday - Thursday

8am-5pm

No weeknight call

Weekend Call : 1 in 4 or 5 weekends

Clinical Responsibilities

Training Provided

Hospital Rounding

Patient Census : 25-40 Patients per day

All patients are seen together with a Nephrologist

Handle new consult requests / follow ups

Write notes and enter orders

EMR : Cerner
