Job Summary

The Food Safety Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining all QA programs, meeting USDA, FDA, and customer requirements, and ensuring the quality and safety of supplied goods. Must have strong knowledge of Preventive Controls for Human Food.

Key Responsibilities :

• Hourly and management associate orientation and training
• Conduct hourly associate QA orientation new hire
• Review of associate handbook and passport : port of call 7 food safety and sanitation
• Training sessions conducted as needed
• Conduct new manager QA orientation for all new unit managers and district managers
• Conducted as needed
• Conduct compass approved servsafe training for managers and persons-in-charge
• Training session to be 16 hour (2-day) format
• Provide one-on-one manager and associate training when working in units as needed
• Identify specific food safety training modules to be conducted by unit managers each week
• Provide specific guidance to unit managers related to weekly food safety training modules
