We are looking for an experienced Engineering Project Manager III to lead critical initiatives with our team. This long-term contract position is based in Skaneateles, New York, and requires a hybrid work schedule, with onsite presence three times per week. The role involves managing cross-functional projects with minimal supervision, ensuring compliance with medical device industry standards.
Responsibilities :
- Define project scope and identify key team members and milestones necessary for successful execution.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders, including R& D, technical communication teams, and suppliers, to drive project progress.
- Provide regular updates on project status and ensure timely communication of any changes.
- Manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring deliverables align with the intended objectives.
- Maintain detailed documentation of project decisions, milestones, and evidence to ensure auditability and compliance with industry regulations.
- Ensure project outputs meet quality standards and fulfill project intentions upon closure.
- Negotiate and coordinate effectively across functions to address challenges and maintain project momentum.
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools to track progress and manage documentation effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or project management.
- At least 2-5 years of experience managing projects within a matrix organization.
- Proven ability to work independently and drive projects to completion.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate cross-functionally.
- Familiarity with regulated industries and experience in medical device environments preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP systems.
- Experience with labeling updates and Trackwise systems is a plus.
