The Mechanic Helper is an entry-level position responsible for supporting mechanics in the maintenance and repair of both passenger vehicles and heavy construction equipment. This role provides hands-on learning opportunities while performing a variety of tasks to ensure the shop and service areas operate efficiently and safely.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Assist / perform basic maintenance tasks such as vehicle & equipment inspections, oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid level checks.
• Prepare tools, parts, and the work area before service operations.
• Clean and maintain tools, parts, and equipment.
• Organize and maintain inventory of tools and equipment.
• Assist in the setup and operation of the Mobile Service Truck.
• Support mobile service efforts by helping perform repairs at job sites and other designated locations under supervision.
• Assist in any related areas as assigned by Warehouse Manager or Superintendents.
