Summary of the Role

We are looking for an experienced buyer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in obtaining required materials, sourcing from additional vendors, and consolidating vendors to meet our organization's procurement needs. This position requires a blend of Excel proficiency and knowledge of ERP processes to optimize our purchasing strategies.

Responsibilities :

• Sourcing Strategy : Assist in the development and execution of sourcing strategies that align with organizational objectives and compliance requirements.
• Risk Assessment : Assist in evaluating potential risks associated with suppliers and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.
• Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Operations, and Quality Assurance, to ensure sourcing decisions support overall business strategies.
• Order Management : Process purchase orders, track deliveries, and address any issues related to order fulfillment.
• Expediting : Follow up and expedite the delivery of purchase orders placed with vendors.
• Report Review : Review daily and weekly reports related to late-confirmed and non-confirmed purchase orders in both the U.S. and Canada.
• Inventory Oversight : Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock and prevent shortages or overstock situations. Collaborate with Field Inventory Managers.
