Our client, a fortune 500 advertising and marketing company, is seeking an AR / Collections Specialist to join their Accounting team in Omaha, NE. The AR / Collections Specialist will be responsible for daily cash collections for various agencies of our client and will work closely with various individuals and departments to resolve client discrepancies. The ideal candidate will have intricate research, follow-up, coordination and customer service skills.

Location : Omaha, NE (Hybrid)
Pay Rate : $17.50 / hr.
Job Type : 3-4 month contract with the potential to convert / FTE
What's the Job?
Contact clients daily regarding past due invoices and address collection issues.
Generate and distribute Accounts Receivable reports to stakeholders.
Perform client account reconciliations and research payment applications.
Serve as the primary back-up for the Cash Application Associate.
Communicate effectively and professionally with employees and clients.
What's Needed?
High school diploma or GED equivalent
2-4 years' experience in accounting
Above average Excel experience : Basic formulas and formatting, XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP. Macros are helpful but required
Familiarity with Cash Applications and Accounts Payable
Able to demonstrate excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and maintain a strong attention to detail
