HDR is looking for a Resident Project Representative (RPR) to observe water and wastewater utility construction activities in North Carolina. The Resident Project Representative will be responsible for construction observation and documentation for general conformance with the construction contract. On day-to-day basis they will be expected to :

• Work with general supervision from the HDR Project Manager.
• Maintain accurate daily record of construction site conditions and activities; significant events, issues, or problems; and communications between parties.
• Photograph construction progress and catalog photos for future reference.
• Produce required reports on Contractor's progress, quality, schedule, and budget status.
• Review Contractor pay requests, including stored materials.
• Work with the HDR Project Manager to evaluate project schedules and prepare status reports.
• Attend coordination meetings and regular construction progress meetings with the Owner and the Contractor.
• Possess a fundamental understanding of contracts and familiarity with codes and laws governing construction.
• Perform additional duties that may require coordination and supervision of construction materials testing and Special Inspections services.
