What You Will Be Doing
Provide administrative support, maintain incident logs, and update OSHA and worker’s compensation reports.Assist with case management of open claims and track light-duty employees until full release.Build relationships with senior leadership and field personnel to promote safety and ensure OSHA compliance.Conduct job site visits and safety audits to identify and mitigate hazards, and investigate accidents and near-misses.Deliver safety orientation, assist with onboarding programs, and travel to various job sites for safety meetings and audits.The Ideal Candidate
Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction field safety or a related field.Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety or a related field.Current OSHA 500 and 510 certifications preferred or obtainable within 2 years.Extensive knowledge of safety and loss control practices.Understanding of federal, state, local, and company safety regulations.Clean driving record and ability to travel within West Michigan.FLSA CLASSIFICATION- NON-EXEMPT : HOURLY | LOCATION : GRAND RAPIDS, MI | KODIAK LABOR SOLUTIONS, LLC.
