Job Summary :

Our interventional and diagnostic cardiology practice seeks an additional physician to join our collaborative team in Blacksburg Virginia.

Qualified candidates :

  • Must be a lawful permanent resident or legal member of the US
  • Must be board-eligible or board-certified
  • Ability to obtain a VA medical license, and DEA license
  • Fellowship trained in specialty
  • Peripheral skills / interest a plus
  • Provide high-quality inpatient care and work collaboratively with other physicians and dedicated patient care teams
  • Strong clinical and communication skills, a team mentality, and an enthusiastic and innovative approach

  • Emergent PCI 24 / 7 program with better than average STEMI times
  • Recently renovated state-of-the-art cath lab with dedicated experienced staff

  • Cardiac and vascular rehab services
  • Full diagnostic services including angiography, CT, echo
  • The practice has two busy interventional cardiologists and two cardiac nurse practitioners
  • Opportunity to participate in medical education through hospital residency programs if desired
