Job Summary :

Our interventional and diagnostic cardiology practice seeks an additional physician to join our collaborative team in Blacksburg Virginia.

Qualified candidates :

Must be a lawful permanent resident or legal member of the US
Must be board-eligible or board-certified
Ability to obtain a VA medical license, and DEA license
Fellowship trained in specialty
Peripheral skills / interest a plus
Provide high-quality inpatient care and work collaboratively with other physicians and dedicated patient care teams
Strong clinical and communication skills, a team mentality, and an enthusiastic and innovative approach

Emergent PCI 24 / 7 program with better than average STEMI times

Recently renovated state-of-the-art cath lab with dedicated experienced staff

Outreach clinics across the New River Valley expand the footprint of the service line

Cardiac and vascular rehab services

Full diagnostic services including angiography, CT, echo

The practice has two busy interventional cardiologists and two cardiac nurse practitioners

Opportunity to participate in medical education through hospital residency programs if desired
