Essential Duties
The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care for the comfort, safety, and personal needs of residents under the direction of licensed staff. This includes :
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living and performing procedures for hygiene and comfort
- Following individualized resident care plans while sharing various tasks with other team members
- Maintaining thorough electronic resident records in accordance with safety guidelines and providing social and emotional support to residents and resident families
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements :
Current Wisconsin certificate as a Nursing Assistant including annual 12-hour educational requirementAbility to handle crisis intervention situations as directed by care plan, facility protocol, resident rights, etc.Basic level of computer proficiency, medical terminology, and understanding of comprehensive nursing care for a diversified populationWork Environment & Physical Requirements
