Labor & Delivery RN Job Details

Location : Glenwood Springs, CO (Zip : 81601) – Colorado nursing jobs

Healthcare Setting : Family Birth Place – Labor & Delivery, Operating Room (OR), Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and Postpartum

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse

Start Date : November 11, 2025

End Date : February 10, 2026

Duration : 13-week travel nursing contract

Shift : 12-hour day shifts; rotating weekends and call (one 12-hour call shift every 6 weeks)

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Estimated Weekly Pay : $2200–$2360 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Colorado RN license or compact state license eligible to practice in Colorado

Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience

Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications

NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required

STABLE certification required

Proof of flu vaccination (no exemptions)

Strong teamwork and excellent communication skills

Traveler's permanent address must be at least 75 miles from facility

Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care for laboring mothers, postpartum mothers, and newborns (couplet care)

Assist with deliveries (average 60+ per month), including care for infants 32 weeks gestation and older

Support clinical operations in the OR and PACU as needed

Collaborate with a supportive, patient-centered healthcare team

Participate in rotating weekend and call schedules

Maintain accurate nursing documentation and uphold high standards of clinical excellence
