Bar Manager – Row 34 Kenmore Square

Row 34 is an award-winning, high-energy neighborhood oyster bar with locations in Boston’s Seaport, Cambridge, Burlington, and Portsmouth, NH. We are excited to announce the opening of our newest location in Kenmore Square and are looking for an experienced Restaurant / Bar Manager to join our leadership team.

About the Role

The Bar Manager will play a key role in delivering Row 34’s signature hospitality and operational excellence. This is a service-forward role requiring a strong presence on the floor and a passion for coaching and developing teams. Bar oversight and inventory management are also part of the responsibilities, making bar program familiarity essential.

What You’ll Do

Lead by example on the floor in a fast-paced, service-driven environment

Partner with the General Manager and leadership team to ensure smooth daily operations

Assist in overseeing bar operations, including inventory management, ordering, and cost controls

Train, support, and motivate front-of-house staff to deliver warm, attentive hospitality

Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant environment for guests and employees

Build strong relationships with both the FOH and BOH teams, modeling Row 34’s values of respect and teamwork

What We’re Looking For

2+ years of management experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant

Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and inspire a team

Experience with bar operations, inventory systems, and ordering processes

A genuine love of hospitality, food, and creating memorable guest experiences

Excellent organizational and communication skills

What We Offer

Salary : $70,000–$75,000 annually
