Description :

We are seeking experienced labor and delivery registered nurses.

Candidates must have a minimum of two years of labor and delivery experience.

First-time travelers will not be accepted.

The patient population includes neonates and adults.

The nurse will work in a team-based environment.

Responsibilities include labor (vaginal), C-sections, and multiple births.

Experience with postpartum hemorrhage and pregnancy-induced hypertension is necessary.

The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 : 1-2.

The unit has 16 labor and delivery beds, with an average daily census of 15.

Epic is the required unit system.

Scrubs will be provided by the facility.

A maximum of seven days of requested time off is allowed.

Three weekend shifts are required per contract.

Travelers may be required to float within the facility.

On-call requirements include two calls per six weeks during AM and PM shifts.

Travelers are expected to work one major holiday if it occurs during the assignment period.

If two major holidays occur, travelers must work both.

If three major holidays occur, travelers are expected to work two of the holidays.

Full compliance is required to start on time.

Compliance documents must be submitted by the specified deadline.

References from supervisory staff are highly preferred at the time of submission.

Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving / Christmas.

A pre-application fee is required for privileging candidates.

Candidates must be available to submit core items and complete necessary labs promptly.

Local candidates are accepted.

Return travelers must complete one successful assignment outside prior to rebooking.

Modules are completed during orientation and vary by specialty.

Modules are recorded via transcripts.
