Job description

ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Tracy, California.

Job Details :

  • 4 : 1 patient ratio for days, nights, and weekends
  • Every other weekend coverage required with occasional back-to-back weekends
  • No guaranteed block or grouped shifts
  • 52 hours of orientation required
  • Care for patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
  • Work in 14-room emergency department with daily census of 112
  • Epic charting system experience required
  • Required certifications : CA RN License, BLS, ACLS, PALS (must be AHA or American Red Cross)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience required
  • Previous charge experience preferred
  • Community hospital experience required
  • LTAC experience preferred
  • Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
  • Handle diverse emergency cases including trauma, cardiac events, respiratory conditions, and behavioral health
  • Skills include arterial line management, central line care, IV vasopressors, ventilated patients, and triage
  • Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
  • Complete non-billable modules during orientation averaging 1-5 hours
