Travel CT Tech - $3,020 per week in Seattle, WA

Staff cover ER and CCU in rotation.- Will they have to float / cover any other areas? : Possibly to Bellevue (about 16 minutes away). If there was a need would be assigned to Bellevue for the duration of the contract- all based on need.- Common types of imaging & Job Duties : All CT exams (basic and advanced) such as pelvis colonography, coronary scans, TAVR planning. Most frequent is chest, abdomen, pelvis.- Experience : Must have experience with GE CT scanners.- Average of scans / studies per day : 20 per tech in Seattle- have about 2-3 techs prepping for the 2 outpatient scanners in CT and 1- 2 techs in other 2 scanners in ER and CCU. 14 exams in Bellevue with 1 tech.- EMR & / or PACS in use : GE Centricity, Philips PACS, Cerner EMR.- Department Specific Equipment : GE- Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech : Lead Techs and Imaging Manager- Do they use RRA's? : No- Radiologist in-house? : Yes- Do they have to start IV's? : Yes- Shifts & Scheduling : Set shifts- vary dependent on need and contract. Days 8 hours M-F 0630-3p, 0800-4 : 30p, 10a-6 : 30p, and 3p- 11 : 30p. 12 hour day 8a-830p or 7a-7 : 30p depending on day of week Nights- 12 hours 7p-7a or 4-10s 9p-7a.- Weekend Requirements : Depends on the shift, CT runs 24 / 7 covered by 12 hour shifts : 1 person does Thur-Sat, another Sat-Mon, and another Tue, Wed, Sun.- Holiday Requirements : Depends on the shift, CT runs 24 / 7 same as weekends- staff rotate through.- Call or Standby requirement? : No call for traveler- will ask if there is need. - Scrub Color / Dress Code : Not provided, we wear a navy or gray or mix.- Department specific orientation : First day would be organizational specific orientation with modules.
