Position Summary

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts payable across multiple business entities. This position requires strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience managing accounts payable for multiple properties or accounts simultaneously and thrive in a collaborative team setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of invoices weekly across multiple entities.
• Verify, code, and reconcile invoices with appropriate approvals.
• Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments.
• Maintain vendor files, handle inquiries, and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and assist with month-end close.
• Track and verify vendor statements and credits.
• Communicate with internal departments and vendors to ensure efficient processing.
• Support the accounting team with additional projects as needed to ensure accurate financial reporting.
