City : Long Beach State : CA Start Date : Pending Privileges End Date : TBD Description : Miller Children s and Women s Hospital in sunny Long Beach California is seeking a compassionate and skilled full-time BC / BE Neonatologist to join their prestigious Regional Level IV NICU team offering advanced neonatal care in a collaborative and supportive environment affiliated with the University of California Irvine and Children s Hospital of Orange County.Job Description : As a Neonatologist at Miller Children s and Women s Hospital NICU you will : Provide expert care to critically ill neonates in a Regional Level IV NICU with an average daily census of 55 patients and 1400 admissions annuallyCollaborate closely with Maternal-Fetal Medicine physicians Obstetric Hospitalists and a wide array of pediatric medical and surgical subspecialists including a renowned pediatric cardiovascular programParticipate in advanced neonatal services such as maternal and neonatal transport whole-body cooling inhaled nitric oxide iNO therapy palliative care telemedicine and a specialized Small Baby UnitEngage actively in the NICU s continuous quality improvement CQI programs to ensure the highest standards of careContribute to and benefit from an academic environment with integrated residency and fellowship programs linked to University of California Irvine and Children s Hospital of Orange CountySupport and foster a family-like collaborative and supportive work culture focused on impactful patient care and professional developmentThis is a permanent full-time position that requires residency within the immediate local area.
