Job description

Product Manager

We're looking for a Product Manager who is passionate about deeply understanding users and their needs and then turning that insight into product experiences that support seamless onboarding, adoption, and long-term engagement. This is not a traditional enterprise PM role; you'll be working hands-on with our users - busy teams in dental offices - helping us refine product-market fit by taking our core products to the next level of quality and relevance and moving toward a more seamless onboarding and setup experience.

In this role you'll have the opportunity to shape how real users discover, learn, and embrace our product, directly influencing product-market fit and long-term growth. If you're excited by working hands-on with users, driving adoption at scale, and taking ownership in a high-impact environment, we'd love to meet you.

Role Responsibilities

User Research & Insights

Conduct hands-on research with users to deeply understand their needs, behaviors, and pain points - identify where people "get stuck" or have unmet expectations.

Translate insights into actionable strategies that improve user onboarding, activation, and retention.

Driving Adoption & Engagement

Design and optimize onboarding experiences that empower users to quickly learn and embrace the product.

Champion initiatives that help users form habits and stick with the product over time, ensuring success of our customer pilots and rollouts.

Discover the right next steps to unlock weaker user segments and turn moderate users into champions.

Ownership & Strategy

Take full ownership of goals and outcomes, setting and executing product strategy without intensive oversight.

Proactively identify opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and balance short-term wins with long-term product vision.

Cross-functional Collaboration

Partner with developers in an agile environment, leading prioritization and negotiation while allowing the team to fully own their day-to-day work.

Collaborate with design, marketing, leadership, and the rest of the product team to align user needs with business goals and to help set cross-product strategy.

Required Skills / Qualifications

2+ yrs experience as a Product Manager at a SaaS company

Experience working closely with developers in agile settings (ideally without heavy-handed process)

Hands-on experience directly engaging with end-users (not only business stakeholders)

Demonstrated success in onboarding and / or adoption strategies for daily-use products, including quantitative measurement to make decisions and determine success

Independent learner and owner who can self-start, self-direct, and deliver

Ability to set strategy independently while still collaborating effectively with leadership

Flexible, agile mindset; thrives in environments where priorities can shift as we learn and grow very quickly

Organized, resourceful, and an effective communicator across functions

Strong culture fit : adaptable, collaborative, and aligned with our fast-moving, mission-driven team

Boston-based and available to work a hybrid schedule in our HQ

Bonus points for :

Experience building SaaS products for busy users with lower tech savviness (e.g., users in healthcare or other similar industries).

Background or exposure to clinical dental practice and / or dental technology.

Experience designing successful self-onboarding / setup experiences for SaaS products.

What We Offer :

Fast paced and collaborative work culture in which you can gain experience, grow your technical skills and work on a wide variety of challenges over your time with us.

Competitive pay, equity and benefits.

Agile organization where being senior translates to being a mentor and role model for others. We lead by example.

Technical challenges on the leading edge of innovation

Don't meet all the listed requirements? We still encourage you to apply! We are looking for the right teammate who is excited to contribute to our mission and are flexible on level of experience.

VideaHealth is committed to cultivating an equitable, inclusive, and supportive environment for all employees. We believe this environment creates a safe space for employees to share their experiences, brainstorm ideas, and grow their careers.
