At Carle Health, we’re looking for a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to implement care plans provided by our skilled physical therapists. You’ll not only treat patients but also serve as a role model and clinical resource for staff and students alike.
What You'll Do
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, your role will be both rewarding and impactful. Here’s what you can expect :
- Educate : Teach patients, families, caregivers, and fellow healthcare providers using effective methods.
- Implement Care Plans : Follow the therapist's plan of care and adjust treatments based on patient responses, always communicating with the evaluating therapist.
- Document : Ensure all documentation aligns with our Clinical Documentation Policy.
- Coordinate : Work closely with physical therapists on patient treatment interventions and communicate progress to referring providers.
- Provide Treatments : Administer therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, ultrasound, and aquatic therapy.
Qualifications

Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Illinois.

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for this position is $22.40 - $37.41 per hour . This range reflects a good faith minimum and maximum for the role at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend on various factors, including experience, qualifications, and location.
